About the RSCV
This network is funded by the FRSQ (Fonds de Recherche en Santé du Québec) within the theme networks it created to develop a greater synergy among researchers from different environments that are working in fields that have been identified as health priorities for Québec.
The network's director is Dr Jean-Claude Tardif from the Montreal Heart Institute.
The RSCV's objectives are :
- Promote collaboration for furthering studies on cardiovascular disease.
- Promote scientific exchanges among researchers from Québec's clinical and research institutions.
- Provide for the development of research infrastructures favouring collaboration among Québec university researchers.
- Provide infrastructures to boost the competitiveness of Québec researchers.
- Provide structures promoting cardiovascular research opportunities in Québec.
